Experiential Learning in Clinical Education Guided by the Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory

In clinical education, experiential learning can be an important component of the instructional process. We know that in medical college hospitals, takes place at patient’s bed side or wards is totally different from classroom. Each patient encounter a new experience where information internalized and applied context previous knowledge experience. This emphasizes importance students should have opportunity to effectively efficiently internalize, process, apply information. However, major global challenge for education workload placed on teachers, who struggle divide time between clinical, teaching, administrative, other duties. Experiential helps form integrated approach teaching simplifies relationship physician’s educational duties erase distinction care duties; are also benefited.
